Annual Short Fiction Contestopen!

From January 1st through April 30th of each year, Perigee considers submissions to its annual short fiction contest. Focusing on groundbreaking fiction that examines and challenges truths, Perigee awards cash prizes to the top three entries: $125 to 1st place, $75 to 2nd place, and $50 to 3rd place. Prizes are subject to increase dependent upon response. When possible, complimentary Perigee merchandise is also included in award packages.

The top three winning entries are published in Perigee.

There is a $10 reading fee per story. Winners announced June 15th.

Annual Photography Contestclosed.

From May 1st through August 31st of each year, Perigee considers submissions to its annual photography contest. Focusing on groundbreaking photography that examines and challenges truths, Perigee awards cash prizes to the top three entries: $100 to 1st place, $50 to 2nd place, and $35 to 3rd place. Prizes are subject to increase dependent upon response. When possible, complimentary Perigee merchandise is also included in award packages.

The top three winning entries are published in Perigee.

There is a $5 fee up to two (2) images. Winners announced October 15th.

Annual Poetry Contestclosed.

From September 1st through December 31st of each year, Perigee considers submissions to its annual poetry contest. Focusing on groundbreaking verse that examines and challenges truths, Perigee awards a $150 cash prize to the top entry. The guest judge for 2004 is Judy Jordan (Carolina Ghost Woods, winner of the 1999 Walt Whitman Award and the National Book Critics Circle Award).

The top four winning entries are published in Perigee's annual anniversary issue (April 15th).

There is a $5 reading fee for up to three (3) poems. Winners announced February 15th.
